The
trophy was donated to Heydon Grange by Margaret Broadley in
memory of her husband and fittingly on Saturday it was won
by her daughter-in-law Tina. The lowest handicap player in
the field off seven Tina finished with a gross 77 in the
bogey competition. However she needed countback see off
Wendy Osborne, one of the highest handicap players in the
field on 35, who also finished on +2. Chris Grainger made a
late charge to record the lowest back nine but by that time
Osborne’s low front nine score and Broadley’s stunning gross
of 77 had settled matters
