There was a nail-biting end to this year's winter league with Team 1 going into the final round with a 6.5 point lead over Team 3.  With a slightly smaller field, all competitors were certain of at least 3 points so team 2 needed to win the final round with Team 1 bottom. Well Team 1 obliged - struggling to a net 71.2 in the scramble format.  However, Team 3 could only manage second place (net 64.2) and missed out by 1.5 points overall.  Had they managed to take one less shot, they would have won the last round and secured overall first place by half a point!
