Club Championship 2012-13

Full standings below for gross and net competitions. Congratulations to John Black on taking the gross title by 2 shots from Steve Foskett helped by a second round 83 including an eagle 3 on the 9th. Nick Alderton won the net title by two shots from Alan Fleming and John Black.

As no-one can win two sets of vouchers, Dave Watts won best net for Round 1 and Gwyn May for Round 2.

Only Round 2 was a qualifier for handicap purposes with competition standard scratch of 73 - Alan Fleming, John Black and Nick Alderton were cut.

Round 1 notable stats:

6 birdies: Steve Foskett - 12th and 13th; Andy Rixon - 8th; Trevor Clifton - 16th; Dave Tomkins - 3rd; Ray Charles - 13th
most difficult hole was the 12th (stroke index 1)
easiest hole was the 8th (stroke index 18) - just like last year's first round
nobody pared the 16th - although there was one birdie
