Tammini tames the wind to take Heydon Grange Trophy

On Sunday 9th July, Heydon Grange members held their mixed Grange Trophy and on a day of changable conditions, the only constant was a stiff wind making scoring extremely difficult. Despite this, Tammini Hurst recorded a very impressive 40 stableford points clear of the nearest challanger and highest place man Tony Leigh with 37 pts.  With the rough still a significant factor at this time of year and members still using many of the professional tee placements used on the recent Europro Tournament, any player playing close to handicap currently will generally figure very well in any competition - so these scores were very impressive
