Elaine Knobel-Forbes easily won the Heydon Grange Hallmark
Trophy last Sunday. The annual mixed event was played in what passed as typical Bank Holiday weekend weather and in very poor conditions many of the field struggled to post a good score. Second place was David Galliard some 6 points behind with Club Captain Adrian Patterson a further point back on 33. Elaine played careful golf and managed to stay away from the renowned Heydon rough while others found the ball difficult to control in the strong wind. The victory now brings her handicap down to 17.7. |
